For example, if you, as a Guest, request that we connect you with an external provider or request services from an external provider on your behalf, in relation to your reservation (e.g., a transfer or tour/activity provider).

  • When you as a guest submit a booking request, certain information about you may be shared with the provider to coordinate the reservation, such as your name, contact details, and arrival date.
  • When you as a provider confirm a service, certain information about you may be shared with the guest to coordinate the booking, such as your full name, phone number, and email address.

Sharing this information is necessary to provide our services to the guests, and we do not share your billing and payment information with other guests and/or providers.

 

Reviews and other Public Information

 

The Villa Sha website may publish information visible to the general public. For example:

  • After completing a reservation, Guests can write reviews which may appear publicly on Listing pages (and other pages where we market our Villa) displaying their first name, last initial, and general location.
  • Any content you submit on our social media posts is publicly visible.

Please note that the information you share publicly on our social media platforms may be indexed by third-party search engines. If you later update your settings or public-facing content, these search engines may not update their databases immediately, if at all. We do not control the practices of third-party search engines, and they may retain cached versions of your outdated information.

Tax Authorities

By handling the collection and remittance of taxes for stays, both guests and third parties (such as agents) consent to the disclosure of relevant data to the applicable tax authorities without further notice. This may include, but is not limited to, names, dates, transaction amounts, taxes collected or owed, and contact information related to the accommodation reservation.

 

Business Transfers

In the event that Villa Sha undergoes a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or insolvency, we reserve the right to transfer or share some or all of our assets, including your personal information, in connection with or in anticipation of such a transaction.

ARCO Rights

In accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties in Mexico, we provide our clients with mechanisms to exercise their Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition Rights (ARCO Rights).
